2 pounds of boneless chicken thighs (or meat of choice) | |
3 garlic cloves (minced) | |
0.25 cup of soy sauce | |
0.25 cup of mirin (or sherry) | |
0.25 cup of ketchup | |
1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar (or white vinegar) | |
1 teaspoon of sesame oil | |
1 tablespoon of cooking oil |
Directions

Marinade time:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of mirin, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Mix well.

Marinate it:
Pour the marinade over the chicken meat and cover with wrap. Place the chicken in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
Marinating the meat overnight in the refrigerator is preferred to get maximum flavor.

Grill time:
In a heated pan or grill, cook the chicken for about 7 minutes on each side (depending on your cut of meat) or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
