P.F. Chang’s is one of our favorite restaurants where we frequently go for delicious Asian fusion cuisine. One of my family’s favorite dishes from P.F. Chang’s are their famous chicken lettuce wraps.
These lettuce wraps are sweet, savory, and spicy if you prefer. It’s hard to tell from just the looks of it but it is loaded with crispy water chestnuts for that crunchy texture in each bite.
    The Secret Sauce
One of the main ingredients of the sauce is hoisin sauce, which is this smooth, sweet, and tangy Asian sauce bursting with umami flavor.
Hoisin sauce is usually available in most Asian grocery stores, since it is used in a variety of international cuisines besides Chinese and Vietnamese.
At our house, we like to top off each wrap with more creamy hoisin sauce with garlic chili on the side. Yum!
    Easy Substitutes for Veges
This easy recipe is very versatile where you can substitute or switch out to any ingredients you have at home.
To load up on more vegetables, any veges of choice can be added with the water chestnuts or to pair with the lettuce leaves.
This dish is perfect for a cozy at home meal to impress the significant other. This recipe serves 2.
Let me know in the comments below what other items you added or replaced with the veges!
